the butcher's daughter

My dad comes from a long line of butchers and he bought his own butchers shop when I was two. So it comes as no surprise then, that meat has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.

While he taught me the importance of respecting where your meat comes from, and how the art of butchery can truly serve a local community, my gorgeous mother taught me the art of cooking. Not only the kitchen basics, but how rewarding and easy cooking can be for yourself, friends and family once you know a few tricks or two.

I now live by the idea that if you're clever with what cuts you buy and be a little kitchen savvy you can make the most amazing meat and cheese dishes without breaking the bank. So keep checking in for top tips, ideas and recipes!
